My website design prices are extremely competitive. I specialise in designing low cost, fast loading, eye-catching websites for sole traders, small businesses, professionals, entrepreneurs, clubs, societies, etc.
Standard Web Design Package - £250.00:
This is a complete online presence package for your business. A static or brochure style website including a home page, plus 2 to 4 other linked pages - any required stock images are extra.
3 to 5 custom built web pages.
Image scanning and cropping.
E-Mail address (anything@yourcompany.co.uk - or use your existing one).
Standard website design elements.
Domain name registration - .co.uk for 2 years, .com for 1 year..
Website hosting for 1 year.
Meta tags to optimise your web site for the search engines.
Wordpress Web Design Package - £300.00:
Your site will be designed using a template which is customised with a new site header. The colour scheme will also be customised to blend in with your logo and header (alternatively, I can use your preferred colour scheme). Wordpress is one of the most popular content management systems available and will allow you to update your own site. Additional pages can be added if required at a reasonable cost - any required stock images are extra.
3 to 5 pages, plus blog page if required.
Image scanning and cropping.
E-Mail address (anything@yourcompany.co.uk - or use your existing one).
Standard website design elements.
Domain name registration - .co.uk for 2 years, .com for 1 year..
Website hosting for 1 year.
Meta tags to optimise your web site for the search engines.
Custom packages are also available.
You can choose from either the Standard or Wordpress Web Design Package and then add as many extra pages as you wish. The price quoted is to design and build your website and is a one-off charge. The price includes 1 years free hosting and registration of a .co.uk domain name for 2 years. After this period your hosting will need to be renewed each year and your .co.uk domain name every 2 years - these are not one-off payments unfortunately.

For Websites with more than 5 pages or Web Site redesign please e-mail me or ring for a quote.
Before I start on the design of your website I will require a deposit of One Third of the full amount. When your website is complete I will invoice you for the balance. Purchase of your hosting package and chosen domain name will be done once your final payment has cleared. Your site will then be uploaded to your webspace and submitted to the search engines. It's as simple as that.

Please note that for For Wordpress websites I will require a deposit of One Third plus £30.00 for your hosting and domain name which has to be purchased in front. This will obviously be deducted from the cost of your site.
Payment can be made by BACS, Cheque or Postal Order - made payable to Margaret Mairs. BACS details are printed at the bottom of your invoice.
Please note:
Domain names are subject to availability so you may need to provide an alternative choice. If a .com domain name is required it will only last for a one year period.
The charge for your website is a one-off charge and once complete and uploaded your website belongs to you, however your web hosting is charged on a yearly basis and domain names are renewable every 1 to 2 years depending on your choice. These are not one-off charges.
I will set up your e-mail address(es) on your server once your site is uploaded. It will be set up to forward to your personal e-mail address, unless you know how to set up the new e-mail address in your e-mail client. I do not set up your e-mail on your personal computer - this is up to you.
